Turska kahva / Turkish coffee

Nedavno sam nasla jedan blog o turskoj kahvi i jako mi se svidio citat koji zelim podjeliti s vama / Nyligen hittade jag en artikel om turkisk kaffe som jag vill dela med er:

"Turkish coffee is special. Not because it tastes good, but because of the care and love that is put into the preparation and consumption of it. Coffee has a very special meaning to the Turkish people and to the culture of their land and that should be respected. The whole premise and life of coffee in Turkey gave way to all of the coffeehouses and coffee business that we partake in to this day from our Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts to your mom and pop Beatnik Coffee Dens. Without Turkish coffee, we would have no coffee at all."

Razliciti nazivi kahve u razlicito doba dana/ Olika namn för kaffe beror på när man dricker kaffe dvs. olika delar av dagen.

"Some types of coffees served during the day are:

The first morning coffee is called razgalica. It is traditionally strong and thick and it intends to wake people up and cheer them up for the new day.

Razgovoruša (razgovarati – to talk) is the coffee that Bosnians drink later in the morning and usually with friends and work colleagues.

The afternoon coffee, called šutkuša (šutiti – to keep quite), is taken after lunch between 5 and 7 pm and it is supposed to be relaxing and calming.

Sikteruša (sikter – go away) coffee is served after a party or a gathering and it is a polite way of telling the guests that it is time to leave. "
